Hard Rock is my heart, Synthwave is my soul. Keepsake was a great addition to my musical tastes and collection; Now comes... Giving The World Away. By far my favorite track is "Take My Hand." It definitely resonates '80s and one band in particular... The Cure. If only Robert Smith would listen to this; I could only imagine what a collaborative effort between the two would possibly sound like. Bravo Hatchie.

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche.

The backing tracks on this album have seen serious improvement since Hatchie's debut, and the tracks have more variety. I'm not sure if there's been much improvement on the vocals, but overall this is a better (and longer!) showing from this artist.
